I'd never heard of celebrities insuring their body parts until Jennifer Lopez turned up on the celebrity scene and insured her famous buttocks for $300 million. That time I honestly thought Jennifer's bottom was the most expensive body part in showbiz. How wrong I was!

Below are 15 most expensive celebrity body parts (according to insurance policies)

#15 Rihanna's legs ($1 million)

When Gillette named Rihanna their new Venus Breeze spokesperson in 2007 they insured her legs for staggering $1 million. 'Celebrity Legs Of A Goddess' they explained. Maybe they're right.

#14 Madonna's boobs ($2 million)

The rumor has it, Madonna first wanted to ensure her bust for $12 million but was only given $2 million. Still not bad, hah?

#13 Heidi Klum's legs ($2.2 million)

TV personality and former lingerie model Heidi Klum has ensured her famous long legs for more than $2 million. An interesting thing about her insurance policy is that her right leg is insured for $1.2 million, while the left one is only for $1 million, due to a tiny scar she has on her left knee.

#12 Tina Turner's legs ($3.2 million)

I remember watching Tina Turner's performances when I was a kid - I don't remember much of the shows, but I was definitely impressed by Tina's sparkling dresses and enormously long legs.

#11 Dolly Parton's boobs (3.8 million)

Singer Dolly Parton insured her famous assets in 1970. That time her 42-inch bustline was insured for $600,000. Forty years later her boobs are worth almost $4 million.

#10 Kylie Minogue's bottom ($5 million)

Kylie Minogue, known for her petite body and envious butt, has insured her famous rear for $5 million. Is it worth it? Hell yeah, every cent of it!

#9 Tom Jones' chest hair ($7 million)

Most expensive celebrity body parts - Tom Jones' chest hair

Even if it's just a rumor, it's one of the strangest celebrity insurance rumors you can ever hear. Singer Tom Jones, who is well known for his unbuttoned shirt as well as his fantastic voice, has reportedly insured his chest hair for $7 million.

He's probably the only singer who cares more about hair than about voice!

#8 Daniel Craig's body ($ 8 million)

When Daniel Craig was filming Quantum Of Solace in 2008 and insisted on doing all his own stunts, the movie producers insured his body for $8 million, you know, for his own safety.

#7 America Ferrera's smile ($10 million)

Ugly Betty's star America Ferrera is known for her perfect snow white smile, one of the best smiles in modern Hollywood. Now wonder why she's insured it for $10 million.

#6 Julia Roberts' smile ($30 million)

She's got the most recognizable smile in Hollywood, and surely the most expensive one, too.

#5 Bruce Springsteen's voice ($31.2 million)

Bruce Springsteen believes he's got a unique voice worth millions. In 1980s he insured his voice for $5.7 million, and now his husky voice is worth six times more - $31.2 million. Sounds like a good investment idea for many singers!

#4 David Beckham's legs ($70 million)

One of the most famous soccer players of our generation David Beckham has each of his legs insured for $35 million. Can it explain his many injuries in the recent years?

#3 Cristiano Ronaldo's legs (144 million)

Spain's club Real Madrid wanted to ensure Cristiano Ronaldo's legs and feet were well-protected. So they insured them for record-breaking $144 million!

#2 Jennifer Lopez's buttocks ($300 million)

She's got the most expensive booty in the world!

#1 Mariah Carey's legs ($1 billion)

I've never really paid much attention to Mariah Carey's legs before. But I will now due to the fact that Mariah's got the most expensive legs in the world, topping my list of the most expensive celebrity body parts.

#5 Bruce Springsteen's voice ($31.2 million)
I don't see how you can insure a voice. Are you saying that if Bruce gives up touring and gets into drugs that wind up putting him on skid row - the real one - and Bruce decides, "Hey wait a minute, I forgot, my voice is insured", then pretends to lose it, even proving it in demonstrations for voice experts from his insurance company which is demanding more proof, that he can always use the loss of his voice, real or fake, as a way to regain his wealth? No legs are worth a million bucks, but at least when a person loses a leg we know it. Anybody can lose their voice or pretend to do so. They insured his voice because they know he's got money and probably won't bother them in a big way even if he does lose it.

Didn't Michael Douglas pay a million dollars for pussy? Odd, there is no pussy on the list. Surely a decent vagina is worth more than The Boss's voice?

There are probably porn stars that insure there vaginas, and dicks. You never know when one might fail, and cum up empty. I have my dick insured for $99. I was going to insure it for more but the State Farm premiums were too much.

Wait, that was Robert Redford regarding the million dollars for pussy. You'd think he could get it for free. Douglas paid for it by getting cancer.

Ollie: True.

Gus: lol. Getting cancer can be the highlight of one's life. It can be a good meal ticket if it's the slow to develop type and goes on for years before skeletonitis sets in and the body loses so much weight that the soul is able at last to fly from the tattered flesh cage.
